Students in Mr. Thielke's class attended a field trip to the Anatomy in Clay Centers for a four-hour workshop on the anatomy of the hand and forearm. Many thanks to our awesome partners and instructors from the Anatomy in Clay Center--you guys are amazing!!! All photos courtesy of the Anatomy in Clay Center.
On January 12, three teams of 9th grade physics students shared their Prosthetic Hand PBL products with visiting STEM leaders and philanthropists from New Zealand and Hong Kong to help them learn about Northglenn's model for STEM learning. Way to represent, NHS Physicists!!!!
Students in Northglenn's Forensic Science classes were challenged, as a PBL (Problem-Based Learning Experience) with using the media to solve cold cases, then to create a video investigation report, similar to "60 Minutes", "20/20" or a documentry outlining their investigation into the cold case.
